Weather Closing

We are truly honored by the clear and overwhelming manner in which you made your support for the Library known on Election Day. Because of this support, we are able to continue to provide the service the community has come to expect from your library.

The Board, the Library Staff, and I are, as always, committed to providing the very best library services and resources we can and promise to continue to maximize what we can do with the support you have given us. In the coming months we will have a number of discussions to determine how to best act on this pledge.

Thank you so much for your trust and support!

New Database

Through NewsBank our patrons now have access to the Ashland Times Gazette, Daily Record and Loudonville & Mohican Area Times Shopper online. Library patrons will enjoy immediate access inside the library. Patrons wishing to access the newspaper database from home or other location will be prompted to enter their library card number. This database access was made possible by the Hugo H. and Mabel B. Young Foundation. You can access these papers by clicking on the above newspaper name of your choice or by going to our Research page and clicking on the Magazines & Newspapers button.

Library Closings and Cancellations

Our Penguin Stuffed Animal Workshop scheduled for Friday, January 12 has been cancelled due to the expected inclement weather. This workshop will be rescheduled for a date in March.

Policy Update

Due to an update to our Internet Access Policy, the library is phasing out its practice of limiting internet access to minors upon request. We feel that internet access is too important to life and school work to continue this practice. Parents and Guardians are encouraged to speak to their children regarding their expectations and standards for internet use. Brochures and copies of the full policy are available at the circulation desk.

During open hours

Grab a bag with supplies and instructions for a complete DIY project that you can complete at your own pace. Projects will rotate constantly.
