Applications Accepted for Director Position

The Loudonville Public Library Board of Trustees is currently seeping applicants for a new Director. Please check out our Employment Opportunities page for more information and to print off and application. The position is open until filled, but resumes and cover letters received before June 4 will be given priority.

New Database

Through NewsBank our patrons now have access to the Ashland Times Gazette, Daily Record and Loudonville & Mohican Area Times Shopper online. Library patrons will enjoy immediate access inside the library. Patrons wishing to access the newspaper database from home or other location will be prompted to enter their library card number. This database access was made possible by the Hugo H. and Mabel B. Young Foundation. You can access these papers by clicking on the above newspaper name of your choice or by going to our Research page and clicking on the Magazines & Newspapers button.

Kids ages 0-18 can have a free nutritious lunch three days a week. We will serve lunch in the library lower level rain or shine.

The library will be closed Wednesday, July 4. We will open at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 7.

Adults will be making a beach candle this month in honor of the 60's beach movies. This crystal clear candle with seashells will make you feel like you're laying in the sand.


NASA-Powered and Pumped Up
June 26-28 from 12:00-3:00 pm

Teams of students will design, build and improve a stand-alone, solar powered pumping system. You will also have a video chat with real NASA engineers. You must be able to come all three days and signup is required. Grades 5-12 only.
