Reference

The Reference Department is available to answer questions, as well as assist you in your search for information and resources. We have current business, law, medical and governmental information available, both in print and electronic format. The Reference Department offers phone books, both local and covering major cities, county directories, Zip Code information, the Ohio Revised Code, and many other reference tools.

We also offer Interlibrary Loan services. Any items that are not available through the SEO database may be requested from other sources. This includes books, videos, audiotapes and various music formats.

The library's connection to Ohio Web Library gives our patrons access to excellent databases covering everything from literature and reading, science and technology to health and medicine. In addition to these excellent resources, we provide access to searchable databases offering magazines, newspapers and professional journals in full text format.

Online Resources

The resource databases are designed to provide access to information and learning tools. Included are resources that provide full-text access to magazines, newspapers, academic & trades journals, reference books, test preparation and so much more.

Use the links on the left to explore the available resources related to a particular subject area. If accessing these materials from outside the library, you may be required to supply your library card number or zip code (to prove Ohio residency).

Most of these resources are made available to Loudonville Library patrons via the Ohio Public Library Information Network (OPLIN) and the Serving Every Ohioan (SEO) consortium.
