Description:
Dust off those old saddle shoe and burn rubber to the library for loads of programs, prizes and reading fun. Babies to seniors can get cranked up and join this year’s program. You can sign up for Libraries Rock! beginning May 25. Keep your eyes peeled for the list of special program information.

DIY to Go

Grab a bag with supplies and instructions for complete DIY projects that you can complete at your own pace. Projects will be rotated constantly so stop by often to see what we have.

 

 

Special Programs
Coding with Music

June 5-7 10:30-11:30 am

Learn to code in Scratch! Tweens and Teens will combine music and computer programming to create their own interactive dance program. You must be able to attend all three days and sign up is required. Grades 5-12 only.

Teen Nerf

June 12 6:00-8:00 pm

Do you have what it takes to become the Nerf Master? Teens will compete in multiple challenges to see who will take home the trophy. Sign up is required.

String Art
Tuesday, June 19 1:00-3:00 pm

Create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece using string, nails and a board. Participants can choose between headphones or their initials.

NASA-Powered and Pumped Up
June 26-28 12:00-3:00 pm

Teams of students will design, build and improve a stand-alone, solar powered pumping system to move water as quickly as possible between two containers. Students will also video chat with NASA engineers. You must be able to come all three days and sign up is required. Grades 5-12 only.

A rogue U.S. spy has decided that he wants out of the spy game and decided to start sharing U.S. secrets in an attempt to compromise the spy program. Can you solve the clues and locate the spy before it's too late?
