Each month adult will craft, cook or learn something new found on Pinterest. Class size for each session is limited to 12 and sign up is required. This month we will be kicking off our Summer Reading Program, Libraries Rock! by making a soda glass flower arrangement. Sample will be on display in the library and posted on our Facebook page.

Meet the Youth Services Staff

Hi, my name is Kristin Wilson. I grew up in Loudonville and graduated from LHS in 2005. I have a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Masters Degree in Library Science. Before coming to work at the library I lived in China for three years where I taught English to preschool and kindergarten Chinese students. I love working at the library and helping kids of all ages connect with literature. My favorite quote is from Dr. Seuss, "The more you read, the more things you know. The more that you learn, the more places you will go."


Hi, my name is Tessa Shetler. I have lived in Loudonville for almost 10 years. I have an Associate's Degree from North Central State College in Early Childhood Education. Previously I was a preschool teacher for five years and an infant/toddler teacher for one year. I feel literature is a great tool and allows us to explore the world around us without having to leave our homes, as well as learn new vocabulary and concepts.



Hi, my name is Brie Haag. I grew up in Loudonville and graduated from LHS in 2011. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Middle Childhood Education. I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2016. Before coming to work at the library I was a substitute teacher. I believe the library is more than just books and computers, libraries are a place where children gather to explore, interact and grow.
